International Club Tournament open to women’s & men’s senior and junior teams from the US & Canada
Tournament dates / times: Thursday, April 30 – 6 pm onwards / Friday, May 1 – 6 pm onwards / Saturday, May 2– 9 am – 6 pm
This leaves all day Thursday & Friday to explore Bermuda!
Tournament registration opens on January 1, 2020 and closes February 28, 2020. We have space for 4 male and 4 female overseas teams, and registration will be on a first come first serve basis. To register your team please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Additional information will be posted to the site when registration opens.
We are happy to be offering an Inclusive package on a per participant basis, for players, coaches & team managers:
For an inclusive price of US$350, each tournament participant will receive the following:
- 4 night’s accommodation from Wed, April 29 through Sunday, May 3, 2019;
- Airport pick-up and drop-off
- Transportation to and from the gym for each day of the event; and
- Tournament registration fee
Upon confirmation of your team’s entry, an invoice will be issued to your team manager / coach for all fees. Please make your payments as a group. A deposit of $175 per person will be required at the time of registration and the final amount by March 31, 2020.

BERMUDA OPEN 2019
From May 2-4, 2019 the Bermuda Volleyball Association hosted the 2019 Bermuda Open. The event featured 6 women’s teams and 4 men’s teams and took place at Warwick Academy. This event is a showcase for indoor volleyball in Bermuda, highlighting visiting teams and gives all of Bermuda’s teams valuable match experience.
In the Women’s Division, the Gold Medal match saw visiting Mt. Allison University face off against Bermuda’s Senior Women’s A Team, Island Spice. The match was competitive, with Mt. Allison clinching the Gold Medal in 2 sets. The Bronze Medal was contested between the Bda Masters (National Alumni Team) and the Bermuda Junior Girls National Team, with Bda Masters coming out on top in 2 straight sets. The Consolation winners were Island Time, the Senior Women’s B Team, who saw off Paradise Hitters, a Bermuda Junior Club Team.
The Men’s Division Gold Medal went to Big Wave Riders, the Bermuda National Alumni Team who defeated the Men’s National Senior Team, Ace Boys, in 3 sets. The Bronze Medal match featured Team American Balls from Baltimore and Bermuda’s Junior National Team, with the Baltimore team picking up the medal.
The Tournament also recognized various All-Stars in both the Women’s & Men’s Divisions. The winners were as follows:

Tournament Most Valuable Player – Eron Woods, Ace Boyz

Best Hitter – Daniel Fiddick, Big Wave Riders
Best Server – Mike Gazzard, Big Wave Riders
Best Libero – Tiago Ferriera, Ace Boyz
Best Blocker – Ben Steranka, Team American Balls
BERMUDA OPEN 2018
The Bermuda Open 2018 took place from April 19-21 2018 at Warwick Academy and was a resounding success.
Fun Divas, from Baltimore, Maryland, won the gold-medal match, beating Island Girls, the Bermuda Masters Team. The Bermuda women’s national team “White Caps”, took the bronze medal and the Bermuda women’s national team “Red Aces” won the consolation round.
BERMUDA OPEN 2017
The Bermuda Open 2017 took place from April 27-29, 2017 at Warwick Academy and was a resounding success.
Mt. Allison University, from Sackville, New Brunswick, won the gold-medal match, beating fellow Canadians Bia Volleyball Club, from Halifax, Nova Scotia, in three sets. The Bermuda women’s national team took the bronze medal and the Sackville Sonics from Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia won the consolation round.
